The Executive Chairman of Ojokoro Local Council Development Area, Hon. Hammed Idowu D. Tijani (HID) has assured officials of the National Orientation Agency (NOA) of the Council's support in discharging its duties to the public.
The Council boss gave this assurance while welcoming some senior officials of Agency, led by the Lagos State Director of the Agency, Prince Waheed Ishola who were in his office at the Council Secretariat in Ijaiye, Ojokoro for a working visit on Thursday, March 22, 2018.
Tijani, in his welcome address, praised the Agency for enlightening members of the public and promised that his administration will always provide all required logistics for the Agency to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.
Earlier, the Lagos State Director of the Agency, Prince Waheed Ishola had inform the Council boss that he and other officials of the Agency were in the Council to sensitize and orientate members of the public on the forthcoming general election in 2019.
He urged the Council helmsman to prevail on the people of the LCDA to obtain their permanent voter's card (PVC) which will enable them exercise their civic rights by voting for the candidates of their choice come 2019.
The NOA director commended the Council boss for ensuring unity and cordial working relationship with the Council's law makers, which he said is responsible for the modest achievements recorded by the administration, as he promised to assist the Council Chairman in propagating his programmes projects among members of the public.
The Vice Chairman of the Council, Hon. Sesan Sobande thanked the NOA officials for the visit and called for more understanding between the Agency and Council for the benefit of the masses.
