These were the words of the wife of the Executive Chairman of Ifako-Ijaiye, Pastor Mrs Modupe Oke who duely represented her husband, Apostle Dr. Oloruntoba Adetunji Oke, on the occasion of the 2018 Measles Vaccine Campaign which was flagged off yesterday, 21st March, at the Ajilete Primary Health Care Centre in Ifako-Ijaiye LG. The chairperson highlighted on the need to get children immunized against measles as the health of children are non-negotiable. She said all hands must be on deck to ensure that children are healthy and safe as they are the leaders and future of our great nation, Nigeria. Pastor Modupe Oke reiterated that measles is highly contagious and spreads easily but the good news is that it can be prevented by the vaccine which is available at no cost. She therefore urged mothers and caregivers to let into the programme which takes off in Ifako Ijaiye LG on the 22nd-27th of March 2018, from 7am-2pm daily. The Secretary to the Local Government also emphasized in his words to the community that health is wealth. He implored all mothers to join hands with the Lagos state Government to ensure that all children from ages of 9months-5years are duly vaccinated.
