Governor Bello Mohammed (Matawallen Maradun) has today, paid a condolence visit to Zazzau Emirate where he described late Emir Shehu Idris as one of the worthy fathers of all Nigerians.
Governor Matawalle who was in company of all his Principal Officers arrived the Palace at noon today where he was received by prominent traditional council members of the Emirate.
Governor Matawalle said the passing away of the late Emir was indeed, a painful one, "but God Almighty who created all of us loves him more than we do, we only pray that Allah has provided for him the best of abode in Jannah", the Governor added.
He said the entire people of Zamfara State pray for the repose of the late Emir's soul and further pray that God Almighty looks after what he has left behind in good health and in abundance.
Governor Matawalle said, "on behalf of myself, my family, Government and good people of Zamfara state, I hereby extend our heartfelt condolence to the family of our late father, the entire Zazzau Emirate and to Kaduna state Government over this big loss".
Those around to extend their condolences at the time of the Governor's arrival included the former President of Nigeria, Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan who was led by his former Vice, Alhaji Namadi Sambo and former Minister of FCT, General Jeremiah Useni.
