Real Madrid have Erling Haaland transfer fear because of Kylian Mbappe

Real Madrid don't want Kylian Mbappe transfer repeat with Erling Haaland
Real Madrid are interested in signing Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland when the transfer window reopens this summer.

Real Madrid don’t want a repeat of what happened with Kylian Mbappe in 2017 should they try and sign Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund, reports say. Zinedine Zidane is eager to land a new striker when the transfer window reopens. And Haaland has sparked interest from the Frenchman having enjoyed a stunning rise to prominence this season.

Haaland: Real Madrid willing to offer Borussia Dortmund seven stars
Real Madrid have struggled for goals this season - with Zidane’s side continuing to falter in that department following Cristiano Ronaldo’s move to Juventus in 2018.

Karim Benzema leads the way on 18 but the France international is on the wane, something the club are well aware of.

Sergio Ramos is next on the list with seven while strikers Luka Jovic and Mariano Diaz have managed just three goals between them in La Liga and the Champions League.
This summer, Real are interested in signing Haaland to solve their goal-scoring problem.
The Borussia Dortmund star has scored 13 goals from 13 matches since joining the Bundesliga side from Red Bull Salzburg in January.
However, Diario Madidista say the La Liga titans fear a repeat of what happened with Mbappe in 2017.

Three years ago, the France international was Europe’s hottest property.
He’d propelled Monaco to the unlikeliest of Ligue 1 titles, scoring 26 times from 44 matches to end PSG’s domination of the competition.
That summer Real were confident they’d sign the youngster and make him the focal point of their new-look attack.

Yet, in the end, Los Blancos were devastated when Mbappe opted to stay in France with PSG - vowing to make history in his own country.

It was a blow for Real who had believed they were in pole position to sign the striker, who would win the World Cup with France 12 months later.

And they don’t want the same to happen with Haaland.
