Makinde's CPS host COMPASS, pledges smooth partnership on community media reporting

The Chief Press Secretary to Oyo State governor, Mr Seyi Makinde, Hon. Taiwo Adisa on Friday 27th October, 2019 hosted in his office, the executive members of Community Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (COMPASS) who were on a courtesy visit to the Government House. According to the President of the association, Mr Tayo Aderinola who led the delegation hinted that the essence of the visit is to familiarize with the administration of governor Makinde to see how the association can help in the area of disseminating state government's plans, policies and general information to the grassroots. "From the achievement of governor Seyi Makinde in just 100 days in office, we felt it's worthwhile to align with his government to assist in spreading the news to the people at the grassroots level for them the governor has the interest of his people at heart". he stated In his response, Hon. Taiwo Adisa said that Makinde's government is ready to partner any viable organization especially COMPASS for upward movement of the state of Oyo in terms of timely development of the state in the area economy, infrastructure, education and other areas of human development that could move Oyo to the next level. However, Hon. Adisa was presented with huge and beautiful handmade card as leader of the delegation never hesitated to pour encomium on the Chief Press Secretary for hosting the association while he assured him of long lasting partnership.
