FORMER OGUN GUBER ASPIRANT HAILS GOV-ELECT’S ECONOMIC TRANSITION COMMITTEE COMPOSITION

A former Governorship aspirant in Ogun State, and the Accord party Federal House of Representatives candidate in the recently conducted elections, Omooba Segun Adewale, has described the 23 – man Economic Transition Committee put together by the Ogun State Governor-elect, Prince Dapo Abiodun, as a right step in the right direction.
Adewale, fondly called OSA, also said that the team led by a former Deputy Governor of Central Bank, Mr Tunde Lemo, and several notable sons and daughters of the state from different political parties shows the in-coming governor’s seriousness in his decision to run an inclusive government, as well as elevating the state’s economic status.
In a statement released on Sunday by his media aide, Oluwaseyi Babarinde, the Yewa born politician and Brand Strategist explained that the state has the capacity to progress economically beyond where it is now considering the abundant human and natural resources at her disposal. “So for the governor to have come up with an economic transition team of that nature is a right step in the right direction”.
He said the governor-elect’s
gesture will no doubt help his government find its bearing economically without wasting time.
Adewale advised the in-coming governor to also carefully look inward to other areas he can bring in competent people to handle key government sectors and agencies in order to move the state forward within the shortest possible time of his administration. He concluded.
