Somolu endorse Akinwunmi Ambode for second term

Somolu local government premises was full to its capacity on Thursday 15th March, 2018 as Somolu chapter of All Progressive Congress (APC) stormed the venue to endorse Governor Akinwunmi Ambode for second term.

The political event which was well attended by political big wigs, religious leaders, captains of industry and scholars in and around the area was a testimony of love for his second coming.
Briefing Somolu Newspaper shortly after the event, one of the Somolu All Progressive Congress stalwarts and Apex leader, Mr. E.A Shoga said Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has done wonderfully well in Lagos state and invariably, he deserves a second term to enable him continue to dish out the dividend of democracy to his people.
"By all standard, Governor Ambode is a symbol of true democracy who has the love of his people at heart and we know his second term will bring forth more prosperity and better life to the people of Lagos state, so it's important Lagosians vote for him". he stated
Meanwhile, the Executive chairman of the Somolu local government, Hon. Abdul-Hamed Salawu also in his goodwill message enjoined the people of Somolu to vote massively for indefatigable and trusted governor Akinwunmi Ambode for good governance.
"We cannot but thanked the Executive Governor of Lagos state for good job he's doing in Lagos state and that's the more reason why we'll continue to support him". he declared
However, with such significant endorsement, it's a clear sign that His Excellency, Governor Akinwunmi Ambode will not have any problems  as far as his second term election is concerned in Somolu local government come February 2019.
The First Lady of Somolu Local Government, Mrs Florence Salawu, joined the party's state officer, Mrs. Oshinubi and other women to add merriment to the event as well as the Governor's elder brother, Mr Nartin Ambode who was also present.
The Executive Vice Chairman, Hon. Bowale Sosimi; Hon. Yomi Osunkoya (Leader of the Somolu Legislative Arm)  and other councilors; Ogbeni Taiwo Adesanya (Secretary to the Local Government) and the supervisors for Agric, health, WAPA, Environment, works with Hon. Ayodele Afolabi (Chief of Staff to the Chairman), Special Advisers and Senior Special Assistants to the Chairman, also endorse the Governor for second term.
Other political elites who graced the occasion include Governor's SSAs, Surveyor, Adekoya Adeleke, Alhaji Daud Kareem, Barr. Gbolahan Shodeyi (SUBEB Board member), Alhaji Babatunde Olaoluwa (former SUBEB Board member) and the physically challenged people were also delighted to associate with Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.
Governor Ambode who's currently in the last lap of his first term (administration) will be flagging off the main campaign for his second term when the coast is clear
